I'd get a second opinion before accepting any treatment plan here. On my visit I was told I had somewhere around 7–9 cavities. I've gone to the dentist twice a year my entire life and had never been told anything close to that. What stood out was that the diagnosis leaned heavily on a laser cavity detector. Those tools read the density of your grooves, so deep or stained grooves can get flagged as decay even when there isn't any. I went to a different dentist for a second opinion and was told I have zero cavities. On top of that, the cleaning itself was the most painful I've ever had — I was holding back tears in the chair. Be cautious.

He was outstanding. A lot of great knowledge, which matched the type of approach I wanted. Very friendly and he provides great options and fair pricing. I'm not someone who enjoys going to the dentist, and he managed my concerns with patience and empathy. I had a small issue with the lady at the front desk, who asked if I "was planning on leaving without paying." Which was after I had already paid a good deal of money for the first half of the same procedure. But I can't punish the great work he did for her miscue. She actually wasn't terrible beyond that, however it was a negative. But in terms of the the dentist and his dental assistant...they were probably the absolute best I've ever had to work on my teeth.

I highly recommend Dr. Velazquez at Holistic Dental Center. He is incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and truly cares about his patients. From the moment you walk in, the office has a calm, welcoming energy. Dr. Velazquez takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes you feel completely at ease. His technique is excellent—procedures are smooth and far more comfortable than expected. I especially appreciate his holistic approach and the level of care he provides. I trust him with all of my dental needs and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Hands down, the absolute best dentist I've ever been to in my 30 years of life. I've had a lot of issues with my teeth over the years, and unfortunately lots of horrible and traumatizing experiences with dentists. I came to Dr. Velazquez in search of a holistic dentist who will take a comprehensive approach to care. My first meeting with him was a consultation, where he confirmed what I intuitively knew for a long time, the source of my issues being an infected root canal. My previous dentist had done faulty work on me. In the consultation he even shaved down a tooth cap that had been bothering me, which had immediate relief. Since then I've had a wisdom tooth removed, which is really why I'm writing this review. I was extremely nervous. We chose an anaesthetic that was compatible with my body using Kinesiology. He inserted the shots into my gum and the roof of my mouth with ZERO PAIN at all. He uses a special trick so that you don't feel it (like I have so painfully before), and everything after that was cake. I was in awe of how painless the process was. I didn't "go under".
